Ory´s job at Beverly Cavern

Joe Darensburg lived with Ory on 33rd Street and he describes how Ory moved to Arlington Avenue.

The Arlington house is expansive-maybe five bedrooms. Ory's nephew Harold Ory told me that George Fletcher´s photos were taken at Arlington. Further, that is where rehearsals for the band were held around 1947-48.

Ory kept a piano, drum set, bass and other instruments on hand there.
