(The photos are graciously given to us by Frau Marianne Glier, who attended the concert and took them. She says : "I went to this concert in the 50s, and I do remember that I talked to Wellman Braud who played the upright bass. I had recognized him by his playing, as I owned a few Duke Ellington records on which he played. He was very flattered I would recognize him).
