Foreword to the www edition of "Greatest Slideman Ever Born".

Back in 1995 when I published the first edition of "Greatest Slideman Ever Born" little did I think that Kid Ory's discography would one day be available to all on the world wide web in cyberspace!

It did manage to sell over 400 copies which I reckon is not too bad for a self published book of limited interest.

The time has come to spread the information further.

To put the discography on www, I have relied on three skilled experts; Christer Fellers, Louis Iosub, and John McCusker, for their help in the past, and now I am very happy that Christer has agreed to put in the hard work to add my book to his wide ranging Kid Ory web site, and I wish to thank him for doing so.

Every possible effort has been made to correct dates facts and add newly discovered recordings.
