In 2001, the postal service of Ghana issued a serie of stamps dedicated to early jazz greats : Lil Hardin Armstrong, James P. Johnson, Johnny Saint Cyr, Joh, Philip Sousa, Earl Fatha Hines, Bunk Johnson, Paul Whiteman, Coleman Hawkins and Kid Ory are featured on the first leaf.
