Kid Ory interviewed by Bill Russell on 2nd August 1969.

This interview was the basis for the Ory chapter in Russell´s book”Oh, Mister Jelly”.

On August 2nd 1969 Kid Ory was interviewed by Bill Russell at his home on Oahu Island, Honolulu, Hawaii. The other people  present were Ory’s wife Barbara and the jazz trombonist Trummy Young, who also lived in Honolulu.
