He has been known under several names : Richard Smith, Dick Smith, RCH Smith, and Dick Riley.
23 September 1926 – 13 February 2007.
Born in Los Angeles, playing with Conrad Janis and his Tailgate Band and Turk Murphy.
He then played with Kid Ory and finally hung up his horn in 1960 to work in radio.
