1913-1915 KID ORY´S HOUSE IN NEW ORLEANS
2135 Jackson Avenue
That's one of the houses Ory lived in after he moved to New Orleans in 1910.
It was saved from demolition, renovated and plaqued as the home of Kid Ory.
It used to be a duplex with the address 2133-35. When is was renovated into a single, it became 2133.
When Ory lived there, he lived at the 2135 side of the house (left side).
For the restoration of Kid Ory´s house in 2002, credit is given to "New Orleans Jazz Commision, Preservation Resource Centre."
