Thought you might be interested in this. When I was going to USC in the 50's I spent almost every weekend here.
One night when I arrived I found Tudi playing chords on the piano. He told me that Harvey Brooks had been in an accident and hurt his hands. I asked Kid if I could sit in on piano and he said OK. So we played Bill Bailey and it went pretty good. Then Kid called "South" and asked, "In "F"?" And Kid said "The original key is Eb" I said, "I know, but I can only play the piano in "F." And that was the end of a promising career for me."
The next few times I came in, Kid would always ask me, "Hey, you know anything in "F?"
